Difference Between Dual Band WiFi And Single Band WiFi:

Development history of WiFi: in 1999, 802.11a defined a physical layer with data transmission rate up to 54mbit / s in 5GHz ISM band, and 802.11b defined a physical layer with data transmission rate up to 11mbit / s in 2.4GHz ISM band;

At present, there are two kinds of devices using 802.11n, which only support single frequency and dual frequency at the same time;

Dual band WiFi refers to the dual band terminal equipment transmitting 2.4g/5g band at the same time;
